Life is hard for the 147,000 Central African refugees who have crossed the border in to southern Chad-- in addition to food, shelter, and sanitation, there are other perils that refugees have to deal with daily.
Some are returnees are originally from Chad, others are from the Central African Republic. The most recent fled in early August, while others came across the border in 2003. No matter what time they came, refugees in southern Chad are grappling with a myriad of issues.
