The Chadian government, working with the United Nations and various aid agencies, are trying to provide healthcare to the Central African Republic refugees, returnees, and the local population in southern Chad. Typical ailments include malaria, flu, and diarrhea. Health care workers are available for everyone, but medication is in scarce supply.
