When the United Kingdom voted in a general election recently, the Conservatives of Theresa May got more seats in parliament than any other party. But they didn’t quite get a majority.
So May asked a small party - the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) - from Northern Ireland, which had the ten extra seats she needed, to join her conservatives in government.
Now many people in Great Britain are asking ‘who are the DUP?’, the Conservatives' partners in government.
As Pierre Bertrand reports from outside parliament in London, before the agreement many people in Great Britain, had never heard of the Northern Ireland’s ruling Democratic Unionist Party.
