Disarming and reintegrating CAR rebels

In the Central African Republic (CAR), a dialogue over disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR) has been initiated by the new government. With rebels still in control of much of CAR’s resource-rich interior, however, few are optimistic the programme will bring about an end to the conflict.  From Bangui, Philip Kleinfeld has this report.
