For several years, Senegal has suffered from flooding that’s blamed on climate change. The effects of a warmer planet are clear to many Senegalese.
Businesses and activists in Senegal have built a temporary village in recent months in the capital Dakar to show people ways to use renewable energy – something that helps to fight climate change.
This kind of village has been organized many times in Europe.
But as correspondent Emmanuelle Landais reports, this was the first one in Senegal.
