One of Nigeria's most successful businessmen, Tony Elumelu made his money in banking but today spends a lot of time giving it away.
In 2014, he promised to give 10,000 African start-ups 10,000 dollars each. Every year his foundation selects a new group of one thousand entrepreneurs and gives them money and training so they can pitch their idea to investors.
This year's entrepreneurs gathered recently in Lagos and Rebecca Rosman was there for RFI.
