In the United States, the House of Representatives last week passed a bill to stop President Obama from releasing any more prisoners from the US prison in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
But the bill is unlikely to pass through the Senate and the White House has said it will veto the bill if it has to. 61 prisoners are still there and Obama wants them moved so the prison can close.
Our US correspondent Philip Crowther visited the naval base that houses the prison last week. He sends this report on his impressions of Guantanamo Bay.
